Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out in Japan only yesterday, and already the final roster has been revealed. There is also a rumour floating around about the December 3rd Brawl delay - a copyright issue with Square-Enix.
Supposedly, Geno, a character from a Mario RPG on the SNES was originally in Brawl, but was taken out - this creating the delay.
A few years back, Masahiro Sakurai asked gamers what characters they would want the most in Brawl. All the characters in the top 10 were put in Brawl, except for Geno - the one voted #1.
Furthermore, on the Final Roster screen there is the "Random Character Box" right under all the 3rd party characters.
Coincidence?
This could very well be the reason why we aren't playing Brawl today, and if that was the delay, then it seems everybody saying "Don't worry, they're adding more stuff!" is completely wrong.
