Rumor: Brawl to launch in the UK in June?
Via retailers in the UK, it was said that Brawl would begin releasing throughout the PAL regions in June this year. However, Nintendo UK's office has now stated that it "is a rumour and purely speculative, Nintendo is yet to confirm any release dates for Smash Bros."

"As North American preps itself for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and following multiple delays and the game's recent debut in Japan, Nintendo has finally announced - at the Micromania Games Awards in France - that the game will be released across Europe on June 6, 2008."

Although it seems possible, there is a chance that another delay could be imminent. This may be why Nintendo isn't confirming anything right now.

There is still no word on a release date for Australia.

It's all just a rumor.. I bet we Europeans have to wait a little longer than that..! And what about the poor Australians..?! Man oh man...

nah, i doubt it it's true (other words i hope its not) i still reckon its april 30th-may 1st release dates because of game.co.uk and amazon.co.uk dates.

I honestly honestly HIGHLY doubt this. If Nintendo arnet even confirming 6th of July, how could it be any sooner then that? Also, I strongly belive that EU and AU won't be seeing this game till September time. Which is stupid. But that's what past experience has lead me to believe.

If Nintendo break tradition and do manage a May/June/July release, they'd be doing themselves a favour. That's when Summer Holiday's are here in England, people would have nothing but free time on their hands.

me to, I asked yesterday in Game and they said thats what they were told by nintendo so they will be releasing it then...

I personally think the release would be around May 1st. This is when the clerk at GAME.co.uk - Buy video games, consoles and accessories with free UK delivery. at GAME.co.uk Told me it was coming out, she had said nintendo of europe had informed them, and multiple gaming stores like chips, and Gamestation this is the most likely release date. But seriously, Nintendo ought to clean up their ••••ing act.

Nintendo have just announced a European release for MKWii (11 Apr 08), what that means is no Brawl for at least 2 months after that.

Like MATtheHAT just said, Nintendo are softening the iminent blow, that us Europeans will not be getting Brawl for ages, by releasing Mario Kart Wii pretty early, on 11th April.
