Rock Band for Wii gets dated and priced - 03-24-08

I lost interest in GH3 in a matter of days; there's no way I'm spending $170 for one game. Especially since I can actually play real drums and guitar and make real music for free.

Besides, you could get three other games for that.

Before I Get Flamed For bragging, My Skill Level at Guitar Hero is only Used to Explain my point.

The Concept of Rock band is Indeed Awesome, however I Feel They Didn't Spend Enough Time On The Individual instruments. I Understand They Wanted Songs With Alot Of Each instrument, But...Anyone here Beat Expert on Guitar Hero 1, 2, or 3? How Much Simpler Was it on Rock Band? There Just Wasn't the Same Level Of Challenge. All in All.. Rock Band Is To Easy, Even on Expert Setting. And i think Anyone Else who Has beaten GH on Expert Will Agree. I was Gonna get it When I First Heard It was coming to Wii at some point, but after Playing it at a Friends house...I think I'll wait to See If RockBand 2 is any Harder.

Drums, however, can be quite difficult. Yet it is also quite fun and can be rewarding. Singing is also fun from a personal standpoint as I actually am somewhat of a vocalist.

People always say stuff about the 360 and PS3 versions of the game, but they seem to forget that it's also for PS2, and I randomly saw it and bought it one day for my PS2. It's a little dumbed down for PS2, as you can't make custom rockers, cant download songs, and the tour mode is much more simplistic, but it's still pretty fun anyways.

From what I have read about this game, the Wii version will lack online support and downloadable content. In short, it's simply an exact port of the PS2 version. Can't say I'm surprised.... rather disappointed. -_-

I don't care about all the online play and DLC, I just wanted the game on Wii. I'm sure it'll be just like the PS3 version without anything online.

I don't see why anyone would want to buy it without the controller, but there's nothing saying you can't do that.
