Alright, now that the dust has settled, I guess I might as well tell you the full story.

Many of you are claiming that this "April Fool's Joke" wasn't funny. I agree... although the reaction we got was hilarious. The truth is, this wasn't the joke.

That was an excellent plan and you guys should've kept going with the joke because everyones reaction would have an excellent build of suspense making it even funnier

Because it got on Digg, and across the internet. People sent hate mails to Nintendo, SuperGeek contacted lawyers, and this was taken as though it was Defcon 6 or something. People were literally prepared to fight for this site to stay.
