Alright, now that the dust has settled, I guess I might as well tell you the full story.

Many of you are claiming that this "April Fool's Joke" wasn't funny. I agree... although the reaction we got was hilarious. The truth is, this wasn't the joke.

And what was the point of it all, to get people all riled up? You caused a lot of attention but made people angry in the process. As for as me, I don't really care either way as far as being angry or laughing bout the whole thing.

If nothing else, everyone's reactions proved how much the site is loved. I think it would have been an awesome prank. (Confession: I was worried, but I wasn't going to freak out until it was confirmed the site was being shut down)

As far as Nintendo being upset over the hate mail...you've got to expect Nintendo gets hate mail all the time for stupid (although possibly legitamite) reasons. I doubt half of the mail they receive is taken seriously.

Nice prank in theory, but it got out of hand.

I got a good laugh out of everyone freaking out. It still worries me that Nintendo might come and actually take action from all the hate, but I doubt it. It kinda sucks nothing will happen on April 1st though, I was looking forward to it.
