Famitsu has recently tested out the much anticipated Wii racer, Mario Kart Wii and not surprisingly, the title was rewarded with a high score. As you know, titles are marked out of 40. This game should've came out much later. What's the sense of releasing two major games within weeks of each other? They must've had a good reason.

Technically they do have a good reason. Brawl released in March in America but Europe and Australia to this day still have no release date. Mario Kart Wii is obviously coming early to keep us waiting....... but no thats no excuse if you ask me, especially since we only get Brawl a few days before the US.

It's not about it being bad or good. It's just the determining factors that make them say, eh its 37 instead of 40. And, Brawls online aspect should prevent it from being 40, when looked at objectively.

To some extent, SSBB was overhyped. Just like Halo 3 was aswell, but not as badly. Don't get me wrong, SSBB is probably a great game (being European, I haven't played it yet), but I'm sure Mariokart Wii will also be amazing. My two favourite GC games are Mariokart Double Dash and Super Smash Bros Melee, so who's to say these two won't be equally as fun?

no way dude. brawl is raw as hell but since i live in america i dont have mkw yet but its on the list. i've seen videos and they both look like they are about the same
