I think the 360 has had it's year and won't do as good in '08. I think the Wii will retain another good year and not lose sales, however I won't think it will have a better year then PS3. Even though I'm a die hard Nintendo fan, I agree with Blinked. With games like GTA4, MGS4, and FFXIII, the PS3 is shaping up to be a real contender for the Wii. Nintendo, time to step it up a notch. | | | | | | Re: Wii speculated to dominate 2008.

Blu-ray itself is an huge investment. First you need to buy a player, then a good HDtv, then surround sound. Over all this put together is around $2000 to $3000. Even though the PS3 is pulling up, it's targeted towards the "bored" consumer a.k.a. the consumer who just wants to have some fun whether it's shooting pimps on GTA4 or messing with the level editor in Little Big Planet.
The Wii on the other hand may target the same consumer the PS3 does, but also indirectly appeals to out-of-the-box consumers who can re-program or find new uses for the wii's motion capabilities.
Although the PS3 will do better and will defenitely leave the Xbox360 in the dust, it'll still be behind the wii, if not match, in sales. | | | | | | Re: Wii speculated to dominate 2008.

what about software? i mean its one thing that all these casual gamers are buying a wii but will they play it? theyll prob like buy 2 or 3 games compared to real gamers whom buy like 6 or more throught time. PSP actually has some pretty good games out there, although the only one's I'd play are remakes (FF, FFII, FFT: The War of The Lions), but some PSP games kick even some of the best DS games out of the water, even though they are few and far between (in my opinion). | |

Incorrect, the PS3 will dominate this year. The Wii already has it's array of awesome titles, and the PS3 is just getting started with titles like Burnout: Paradise, Resistance: Fall of Man2, or GT5. | | | | Article Tools | | | | Display Modes |  Linear Mode |
