Yet Another Wii Ripoff is Released in France

Ever since Nintendo's Wii stepped on Microsoft and Sony, Wii ripoffs have been popping up left and right. China has the Vii, Brazil has the Wi Vision, and now France has the new La Foir'Fouille.

The thing is, the La Foir'Fouille not only has a Wii-shaped console and a Wii-shaped controller, it has it's own Wii Sports Ripoff. Apparently trying to one up Nintendo, the console's packaged game comes with not five, but six sports related games. Baseball, ping-pong, bowling, boxing, tennis, and soccer, or football.

In the below picture, look not only at the console, but at the screen the dad and daughter are playing on. Look at all like Wii Tennis to you?

The French words above the console literally translate to "The game console wireless interactive", and "Prix de Folie!" translates to "The Price of Madness!".

Frankly, this is one of the times I wish Nintendo weren't so friendly. They have a reputation for being the nicest gaming company, but I almost wish they would pump out a lawsuit just shut down these ripoffs.

The Vii was more convincing as a Wii rip-off than this. This looks more like a Fisher-Price toy than a game system.

wow, i wish they would throw some lawsuits out. these rip-offs are driving me mad.
its very annoying that the people making these things think they can simply change some colors and switch some buttons around and call it a new system.

I'm thinking that Nintendo is becoming sick and tired of the ripoffs or doesn't even know about them yet. Then again, they won't be any competition...so, maybe they don't care about the ripoffs.

3 of the 5 accessories for the controller look like over-sized spoons.
