At least they actually care, right? In response to the lack of Downloadable Content for the
Wii and PS2, Harmonix, in a press release today that they will be releasing a disc with bonus songs on it.
Each disc will have 20 tracks, and cost $29.99- which really isn't that bad, you save 25% of what you would pay to buy the DLC for PS3/360.
Is this made of win? That's up to you guys to decide, take a look at the track list supplied on the first DLC Disc.
30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill
All American Rejects - Move Along
Blink – 182 - All the Small Things
Boston - More Than a Feeling
David Bowie - Moonage Daydream

The Hives - Die, All Right!
KISS - Calling Dr. Love

Weezer - Buddy Holly
Wolfmother - Joker & the Thief
I know I'll personally be grabbing it to play All The Small Things. That song is required on every Nintendo music game. Donkey Konga, Rock Band... You get it.
There seems there was a small hint to secrets being unlocked in the PS2 version. Maybe the same goes for the
Wii?
Is this the first of several discs? I really hope so- this is a good way to make up for the lack of DLC. Of course, I don't even know how this would work just yet. Is this basically Rock Band 1 and 1/2? Do we need to boot up the
main Rock Band to get these songs to work? Time will tell.
These discs go on sale
July 15th.
