Brand new games from Activision have been revealed, or atleast announced anyway. A recent press conference held by Activision revealed some pretty interesting details regarding a new Tony Hawk game, Guitar Hero and Call of Duty.
As stated by Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith, Guitar Hero and Call of Duty are some of Activision's biggest franchises, and will play a huge roll on the company's success in the future. What better way to conclude than to announce that a Guitar Hero 4 and Call of Duty 5 are currently in the works. Griffith went on to state that Guitar Hero 4 will be a
"significant leap forward" for the already popular series, with the next installment receiving more than three times the downloadable content than the last. New details about Guitar Hero 4 will be revealed
"in the next two weeks".
The next Call of Duty has also been announced, and surprisingly unlike it's predecessor, this one has been slated with a
Wii release. Heres to hoping they fix the buggy control scheme Call of Duty 3 on the
Wii was blessed with. In addition, Call of Duty 5 will be coming out on the
DS, PS3, Xbox 360 and of course, PS2.
Finally, a
DS exclusive Tony Hawk game is in the works. Although Activision are scarce on the details, they claim that the new title will use new technology that has not yet been seen in a
DS game.
Don't know about you, but I'm interested in these new Call of Duty and Guitar Hero games. I'll keep you posted, providing no one else does.
