Sonic Team not developing Sonic Unleashed Wii. - 05-20-08

Surprise surprise. It seems that the 3D Sonic developer, Sonic Team, will not have any roll in developing the Wii version of the new Sonic Unleashed game. Instead, it seems that Dimps, the team behind Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure will be in charge.

I didnt even think many people were going to buy the game.
I wonder how WaterMan reaction will be when he finishes reading this, sence hes a huge sonic fan. I even think they over did it and thought it would look cooler then the other sonic games but it doesnt really.

Sonic Team pretty much hurt Sonic's game reputation alot, but I think *whatever company's doing it* is gonna do good with him, just like Sonic Rush and the second one.

cept a lot cleaner and less grainy

I don't know why everyone keeps freakin whining about how the 3D games were "lackluster" or some sort of downfall. I and many other people loved them, up until the voice cast was axed by loser-4Kids.

2D Sonic was always too hard for me. o_o

I still refuse to buy Sonic games until they bring Mr. Drummond and his buds back.

... might rent it, though. ;;>_> If people say it's good or if it has a story...

Sounds good. I really do love Sonic Adventure 2, though, but that's just about the only 3D Sonic game I like. Although I didn't like the story or how it was done in Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure and Sonic and the Secret Rings. Hopefully the cutscenes are like SA2 again, just better. And better voice-overs.

The few things I didn't like in Sonic Rush were the grinding(It was pitiful and slow, hopefully they speed it up) and the level design. Don't get me wrong, the levels were mostly great, but there's a few badly designed levels in my opinion. Some felt like they belong in Sonic Advance, which is a really boring game in my opinion.

But anyway, Sonic Unleashed sounds pretty awesome.

okay sonic team
wii + sonic = better than the 360 one
and yet you go with sony and microsoft
well at least sega is loyal and they own the rights to sonic (thank god)

but really i dont know if sonic team is doing a good job at developing

sonic unleashed i need
