Wii version of Guitar Hero: World Tour to have downloadable content.
Whether Nintendo has quietly revealed an answer to their Wii storage issue to Activision or they simply don't want Wii owners left out of the fray again, the Wii version of the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature downloadable content just like it's PS3 and Xbox 360 counter parts.

This comes as quite a surprise, with Harmonix stating that Rock Band Wii would not support downloadable content due to the consoles very limited storage space. Has Activision found a way around it or are we going to be forced to pay out for more SD Cards? I will keep you posted.

I guess that's nice, but unless we get some Nintendo related themes to play, I wouldn't even buy it for the Wii.

I hope it's free, I already have a SD card, So I guess I'm safe.
They said this last time, but we got no downloadable content...

probs more sd cards. that or the songs are like the happy tree friends theme tune and take up like 1 block of memery

hmm ik have a 2 gb sd card so no prob at all
but it would be great if nintendo would bring out a sort of memory stick with huge memory and where you could directly save your channels and so

Well, according to Iwata, Nintendo IS apparently reviewing memory solutions for the Wii, and we don't have to worry.

Now, I want this damn memory solution.

Cool. I definitely can't wait. But really, since you can record your own songs and all, all you have to do is watch the note charts on YouTube and play it yourself.
Pretty much free DLC.

ahh about time, im guessing that songs can be gotten with wii points? but yeah this will be amazing, if u cant download a song u want, u can just make it!
