To continue our "Guitar Hero Week", more details about the title's release have been revealed, including the price and shipment date. It seems that the game will be sold in "packs". The "Band Kit", which includes the Guitar Hero game, a drum set, guitar and microphone will set you back $189.99USD. If you choose to just buy the guitar controller with the game, the "guitar kit" will cost $99.99USD. If you just want to buy the game on its own, it will retail for the average $59.99USD, however there has been no confirmation that the original controllers will work with Guitar Hero IV.

I'd also like to note that these are the Xbox 360/PS3 prices. The Wii and PS2 versions of these games will most likely be cheaper, but only by about $10USD. Guitar Hero World Tour also has a set shipment date of October 27th this year, so the title should be out this holiday season.
