'Sup guys.

Yesterday all Gamestops in the US got an e-mail which announced the very first Legendary Pokemon event at Gamestop, dubbed "Pokemon Weekends".

These exciting weekends will be held in the last two weeks of June (6/20-6/22 and 6/27-6/29), during which, Pokemon players from all over the US will be able to download their very own Deoxys.

The distribution of this rare pokemon will be through the DS Download Station in each store, which means that there will be no lines to get it! (Which is good for everyone; the customers, the players and the associates ). However, that also means that the DNA Pokemon will only be available to those with Diamond or Pearl versions.

It remains to be seen whether or not several Deoxys will be able to be downloaded to the same cartridge, and if there will be tournaments in particular stores, but more information will be on its way.

Hopefully Nintendo will proceed to do similar events with the biggest video game retailer in the US, as opposed to the decaying Toys R Us. Maybe next Pokemon Weekend we'll have Arceus or Shaymin for download!
