New Guitar Hero World Tour peripheral and in-game images. - 06-23-2008

New images from the upcoming Guitar hero World Tour have been released today. Need I stress that the gameplay images are most likely NOT from the Wii version, but the peripheral are.

This is probably Guitar Hero, since it says Guitar Hero in the title and on the microphone.

But yes, buying the Wii version of Rock band over the Wii version of Guitar Hero World Tour is a stupid waste of money. Rock Band Wii is an exact port of the PS2 version, which means no online, downloadable content and a few other missing features from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii is the exact same as the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (including online play and downloadable content), except it obviously won't have as pretty graphics.

Harmonix:U can't do online or DLC or custom characters on the wii!

I dont get why you have to place a wiimote in the little cartridge, is it motion sensed or something ?

Shouldnt the Guitar buttons connect to the wiimote buttons if you have to place it there?

There's a cord connecting the Wiimote to the guitar, like the nunchuck to Wiimote.
