Nintendo copies Microsoft!
Last month, Microsoft teamed up with Pat LaFontaine's Foundation Companions in Courage to bring Xbox 360 kiosks to children is hospitals.

Now, Nintendo has partnered up with Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation to bring Wii kiosks to the hospitals as well (U.S. and Canada, only). Nintendo plans to produce 1,250 kiosks and have about 500 of them already in a hospital by the end of 2008. The first kiosks were donated to the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles yesterday.

I hope they have fun. =D

Lol, that's awesome. But it's a bad thing too if you think about it... When the kids are in the hospital they'll get to play the Wii until their little brains explode and then they'll play some more... but what happens when they get out of the hospital??? They'll have a withdrawal and beg their parents to buy them a Wii! So whatever their parents were already paying for the hospital bill they'll be paying $250+ for the Wii and games!!! It's a vicious, evil, and freaking smart marketing plan by Nintendo!!

Nintendo Wii: makes kids WANT to hurt themselves.

Anyhoo, that's very nice of Nintendo to do something like that to the poor children in the hospital.

It doesnt matter if the kids will hurt them selves swingin the remote around,or get seizures from the screen, it was the thought that Nintendo put into it that counts.

You know, Wii fits a lot more in a hospital for many reasons. XBox just has shooters for the little ones to relieve their stress at. Odds are, those kids will be back in the hospital, and it ain't for the reason you think.
