Post Friendcodes: Nintendo E3 Predictions

As we countdown to perhaps one the most anticipated gaming events of the year, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), approaches the predictions of many people. Overtime, it should be amusing to discover which Nintendo franchises will be appearing at the show and how each individual thinks of them.

A new article will be posted by me every few days on my overall predictions for E3 Nintendo. I'll be uncovering one series every few days until the day comes of the Expo, as there are multiple titles to cover.

Each game will be given a percentage at which console it may launch on, a short description of the franchise, the history of the series and an article on my personal thoughts and/or opinions on it appearing at the show. In the process, this might educate a few of the younger members torwards different games and perhaps even E3!

Although Nintendo is fully unpredictable, I'll be doing the best I can with what I think... =P

To answer some of your questions, yes I will be going over popular titles or franchises such as Animal Crossing, Mario, Pikmin, Zelda, etc., etc., etc. Maybe even Kid Icarus!

Be sure to feel free to leave comments stating your own predictions as well!...

Now on to the good stuff! =P We'll be starting with the Animal Crossing series. =)

Animal Crossing
Nintendo DS: 0% Nintendo Wii: 100%

Description: Animal Crossing is a life simulation video game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo.

September 16th, 2002: Animal Crossing was launched in North America and gamers across the continent discovered a new addicition.

It was basically the first Nintendo GC game to utilize all of it's features in an animated, exciting way. Many had anticipated it ever since the E3s before hand; the long, arduous wait for the highly ambitious game was well worth it!

Today in time, the very first Animal Crossing title, believe it or not, is still a top seller of all time and is also a Player Choice pick. Most of us have or still are playing, and there are yet still many millions of gamers that have never experienced the true encounter of such a wonderful title.

The game continued to sell until Nintendo announced the continuation of it at E3 2004. Nintendo delighted many of thousands of AC gamers across the globe, throwing out the details of their upcoming game.

Finally, at the 05 Expo, Nintendo spread all the information on the table and laid it out to and for fans...

Thus Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS was released on December 5, 2005 for Americans. Many of us remember the great days of ACWW. The - Come home from school, grab the DS, pop in ACWW, power on, connect to Wi-fi and, uhhh...PLAY! - Days. =D

The most prominent change is the ability for the player to play with anyone in the world whose Friend codes they have. "Animal Crossing-ers" traded friendcodes with family, friends and on websites such as Friendcodes. This hit off the series and eventually the average family-hold had a copy of Animal Crossing.

After a few years, ACWW seemed almost repetitive in a way, in my opinion. And we were finally awaiting yet another title for Nintendo's most recent "revolution" of systems, the Wii.

And here we wait, within the next month, I believe we'll have some light shed on the game. How sure? 100%. Rumors have flown around multiple websites, magazines and even in the local or city newspaper.

Anyhow, many would agree that the Animal Crossing series has a full chance of appearing on the Wii in the future, but the question is if it will be announced at E3 or even at a later date. Personally, I'm 100% it will be announced on July 15th, for the Nintendo Wii. =)

A couple of big names in the Nintendo industry have already mentioned the idea of Crossing appearing on the Wii, although nothing has ever been officially confirmed. Additionally, the director of public relations at Nintendo has recently announced that Nintendo will be showing off several new games at this year’s E3 that will greatly interest core gamers. The Animal series is very much a part of this “core gamer” category, so this will higher the chances a little more. =)

I guess we'll just have to wait n' see. No one knows what Nintendo could bring! =D

Re: Friendcodes: Nintendo E3 Predictions

Animal Crossing Wii can complete the trio of Brawl and Mario Kart.
I want a game that isn't competitive, so I can relax once in a while.
