What! wii doesn't have DVD play back? ...I've never used a wii so I don't know these things. But seriously, at this point why DVD compatability, when most people already have a dvd player. Nintendo should just skip ahead to Blu Ray compatability since fewer people have that, and I think Blu Ray is supposed to become the standard for home movies by 2010 sooo....(I think. At least in North America). And sure It would be more expensive, but when people don't already a a Blu Ray player, It would sell alot better.

i think they should make the wii have a wii system update so it play dvd's cd's hd dvd and blu-ray dvd. Maybe even pc games and more offline channels like a mii minigame channel with options so you can play normal minigames or minigames over wifi.

They should make a DVD attachment. There's only one DVD player in my house, and my mom won't let me use it. She's a bit territorial with her electronics.

Wii + DVD = win.
