Mega Man 9 to utilize Pay and Play feature. - 07-10-08

Don't be fooled, this game looks like a Mega Man title from the NES days but it's actually a brand new game. Capcom has developed Mega Man 9 specifically for the WiiWare service and it uses the exact same 8-bit style as the original Mega Man games on the NES. Since the game is "brand new"...

wow the original mega man series (not the X series or any of that) has been quiet for a while. i like the 8-bit style.

The 8-bit style is original and for those who truly love megaman games.

1000 wii points is preety steep for a megaman game plusthey say its the least youll spend on it

Pay to Play's already been launched. It's in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. Pay to Play is only for DLC, so I don't see why it would fail.

haha...the service is actually already out and the Xbox 360/PS3 uses the same service, they just don't call it pay and play, its also up to the developer/publishers if they want to charge for their downloadable content. Some will charge like Square Enix of course and others won't. I personally think that if you purchase a game then all downloadable content corresponding to that game should be free, but that's just me.

1,000 Wii points does seem pretty high for a retro looking 2-d scroller that looks like it was on the NES.

Nintendo better release a storage device or a response/answer for the storage problems on the Wii soon, especially with all these WiiWare games/downloadable content coming out. And no, a SD card is not an answer to the storage issue, I think its stupid to have to copy over your information when you want to make room on your Wii just to play a channel or a game.

They either better release a external storage device or add support for a external Hard Drive/Flash Drive.

Hmmm, I might get this. I do enjoy playing Megaman games. But, for 1000 Wii points... Hmm, I'll just see how everthing turns out.

thats 10$ not much for a new game, would you rather spend 40$ and go find it in the store with these graphics? it seems that their cutting you a great deal
