the devices are for homebrew. it is the responsibility of the buyer to use as intended.

Yeah, but the people making these support playing "backups" as a feature. I'm not going to try to defend them, even though I have a cart of my own, when they know what they're doing is illegal.

Why so late, Big N?


It's time to finish with piracy. Altough it boosts hardware sales (like the PSP case with the Memory Cards), but isn't good for software sales.

The ones who are right don't buy these kind of device, so the problem is with the ones that do buy them and download illegal games. To ban those sites and to finish the sales of this kind of device are the only solutions.

Don't matter if you bought it only for homebrews - it's the same of saying that you are going to China next august for work, when everybody does know that the main purpose is the olympics period.

am i still leagel??????
i have an r4 ds but the only thing i have on it is homebrew and games that i own a real copy of.
i use it as a backup device so i have not the need to take all my games on holiday etc.
plz tell me because i read the previous law on this and it said i was leagel if i owned a copy of the game and i do but i dont know if this has changed now?

the legality of rom backups is debatable however in practice people are never charged with copyright violation for backups.
