Oprah Winfrey is a trend-setter. She buys a book, it’s a best seller, she buys an album, it goes platinum. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but she does carry a very profound influence in today’s society, and yes, she can make or break something. Well, recently, a gossip site spotted Oprah purchasing a Wii in a Hawaiian Wal-mart. And you know what that means? Well if you ask me, I say Wii sales will now sky rocket shortly after, because now every one will want to get their hands on that little white box that caught Oprah’s attention. The media-mogul also purchased two games, but it’s still unknown what games they were. It’s very hard to deny the fact that this will definitely help Nintendo sell more Wii consoles, I just hope they can keep up with the sudden demand by middle aged women.
