Lol. Meh. It's all just talk. If they were behind the Wii's success they should've followed through on their EyeToy.

Re: Sony: Playstation is behind the Wii's success.

uh... from what I can tell the wii and any playstation systems have no similarities other than its run by a disc (what isnt these days other than the DS?)
if anything, the PS was closest to SNES because of its controller

This is probably some bad marketing scheme to look like the adopted father of the wii to pull ahead for next generation

This sounds vaguely familiar. Oh yeah, when someone thought Mario Galaxy was inspired by Ratchet and Clank. People like this are just idiots. (How do Singstar and Buzz result in the Wii?!).

Re: Sony: Playstation is behind the Wii's success.

lol. How can Sony even say this? Nintendo had DOZENS of peripherals on the NES some which had much similarity to the wiimote.

Re: Sony: Playstation is behind the Wii's success.

playstation 1 was originally an add on for nintendo but they cancelled it

so sony released it for themselves anyways because it was already far through development kinda makes his idea wrong
