Rock Band 2 Wii not inferior to Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
Since Activision has announced that Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii will feature all the goodies the Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be getting, Harmonix has obviously decided that they need to step Rock Band 2 if they plan on competing. The new Rock Band 2 will, according to the a Harmonix representative at E3, be "fully featured" for the Wii. This most likely means that downloadable content, character customization and online play will be amongst them.

This contradicts what Harmonix said about the original Rock Band Wii, where they claimed downloadable content could not be done due to the Wii's limited storage space. This comment can now be safely ignored.

Rock Band 2 will release later this year along with Guitar Hero World Tour. The original Rock Band has yet to be released in Australia on any platform, which means a longer wait may be in store for you.

Eh. Maybe if they fix the guitar it might be good enough to spend the money on, but ATM i'm still going for gh world tour

It's good that they're finally puting some downloadable content...I didn't really like the idea of track packs for the original RB

if only the wiis graphics were like the 360s and ps3s the games would be much better

I think I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that. Games are all about the GAMEplay, graphics are there so you've got something to look at. What if the best game ever was on, say, the Atari 2600? Would you not play it because it's graphics are severely outdated?

As for Rock Band 2, we'll see about that. Still getting WT, though, song creation FTW.

I was gonna buy this anyways, but this makes me want it een more. GH:WT and RB2 are the next two for sure Wii games I am getting.
