Much like the Nintendo Entertainment System before it, the
DS has quickly become the ladies' man of his generation. Coming in dozens of his own outfits (some even multi-colored), it's easy to see why. What people like me DON'T understand is why a charming lad like this guy would wanna do something really awkward, such as making weird comments about how his own Japanese "girlfriends" wear their make-up.
But alas, such is the case. You see, the
DS' old friend Sega came up with a great idea: Why not team up with this fashion-obsessed Shiseido guy and make a game where you can make comments on how other women dress? We can even call it "Project Beauty"!
....Okay, enough personification; it's REALLY starting to sound creepy! But really, this aformentioned "Project Beauty" will be arriving in Japan on November 27 with a special camera bundled in. This will take a picture of what you are wearing, and with some advanced AI, it will tell you some "tips" on what to wear for the day. Sega spokeswoman Rei Sugiyama claimed:

The same user can have a variety of make-up tips for different occasions such as business, dating or formal gatherings. You would find colours that are good on you but you never realised before.

She further commented that:

The new software targets women in their 20s and 30s, (along with) children, elderly people and women who were not considered core game players."

With the hefty $55 price tag, one must wonder if any of these "fasionistas" will buy it, but hey, that's what they said about
Wii Fit! As always, lets just wait and see how this works out.
