High Voltage Software has revealed that their much anticipated hardcore shooter, The Conduit, will be shown off by Nintendo at PAX 2008, which takes place next week. The Conduit is a first-person shooter title exclusively for the
Wii that combines stunning visuals with gameplay never before seen on the
Wii console. In short, it's what those who are over Metroid Prime 3 have been waiting for.
“PAX is jam-packed wall-to-wall with passionate game fans. We are incredibly honored to be featured there at Nintendo's booth. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to receive input and feedback directly from other gamers.”
At E3 this year, The Conduit was probably one of the only
Wii games that got any real positive feedback, winning numerous awards such as:
- IGN Best Shooter Game of E3 2008 (Wii)
- IGN Best Graphics Technology of E3 2008 (Wii)
- IGN Best Overall Wii Game of E3 2008
- GameTrailers Best Wii Game of E3 2008
- Edge Top 20 Games of E3 2008
- Gamepro 21 Wii Games to Drool Over.
