Even with the 20 month head start, the Xbox 360 has fallen well behind the
Wii in terms of worldwide sales. While the Xbox 360 sits on roughly 20 million units sold, the
Wii has almost doubled it with a massive 35 million since it's launch in late 2006. With figures the way there are, the chances of the Xbox 360 catching up anytime soon are very slim, and it seems that Microsoft's vice president Don Mattrick sees that as an inevitability.

Sony currently sits on 15 million PS3's sold worldwide, which is only 5 million short of the Xbox 360. Will Microsoft be able to keep their Xbox 360 console selling this late in the game. Hey, another price drop before Christmas would be nice.
