In a recent issue of Club Nintendo, a Spanish Nintendo magazine, a revealing interview with Nintendo’s two main men was printed. One of the questions addressed the Wii’s lack of a proper hard drive or another memory expansion. Reggie confirmed such a device was in the making, but also noted that it...

Well it could be with an alternative hero like in Windwaker and TP. They weren't the Heroes of Time like the Link in OoT and MM. Maybe with some hero that failed saving Hyrule. Add a bit more drama. In the intro and throughout WW it is explained that Hyrule was destroyed by Ganon because the Hero of Time didn't show up. That's why Hyrule was forgotten by most people in Windwaker. Only remnants were left.

I'm being such a Zelda geek =P I dun care!

lol i wouldnt call you a zelda geek... more of an OOT fanboy to be blunt
OOT isnt where the real link is... they are ALL the real link, remember zelda games are the retelling of the same story with a different spin every time, not around one particular game (exception: majoras mask)
wind waker is an oddball yes, but you still do the same exact stuff, save the princess and beat up ganon. all they did is just say that the hero of time (OOT) saved the land then wasnt around to save it again, mostly to set the scene and partly to attract OOT fanboys

Actually, they aren't. There is an obvious continuation, why do you think that the intro on WW talked about the Hero of Time? And all the references in Wind Waker to what happened 100 years ago with the Hero of Time? If it was a re-telling of the same story there wouldn't be references in between the stories would they?
