Ever since the original Myst came out on the PC, light puzzles have been a staple to adventure games. In fact, there have even been some educational and puzzle titles dedicated to this. Liight, with 2 "I's", takes a new, color-coated spin on this formula, this time on Wiiware.
I could probably describe it myself, but developer Studio Walljump would probably be an exponentially more enthusiastic choice as a spokesman for this product. Not that it's a bad game, mind you, but boy, these guys are passionate!

Liight is a puzzle solving game where the pieces are colored lights and the goal is to make cool music! Anyone can play! Just illuminate all the targets in each puzzle with light of the matching color… but it’s not always so easy! You’ll have to mix colors, cast shadows and make the most of your limited resources to solve these brain teasers. Solve 100 challenging puzzles! Create your own puzzles, and Share them with your friends via WiiConnect24. Host a Contest to see who can solve your puzzle the fastest. If you’re ready, take on Nonstop mode, a whole new way to play where arcade-style scoring meets split-second strategy!

So, in a nutshell, that means that the focus of this game is gonna be solving, not falling (as in other puzzle games like Tetris). This game still seems to have a heck of a lot of replay value, though, as it has 4 diverse modes to choose from, including online contests!
The best thing about it, though, is how it appeals to both the hardcore and casual audience. The online contests and harder puzzle levels will keep dedicated players busy, but it's still really easy for new gamers to get into it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Studio Walljump decided to throw in a "Free Play" mode by the time of the game's release, which, unfortunately, is still a mystery for now.
