...No. A cooler name would be "Animal Crossing: Downtown".

The name "City Folk" is somewhat corny, but not that bad. I nickname it Downtown so that I don't embarass myself. =/

Yea, but Wild World is corny too. IMO, City Folk seems 'cute', but quaint and appropriate for the game. However, Downtown would be an awesome name too.
