Ever since it's first announcement at TGS in 2006, the original Chocobo Tales has been one of my all-time favorite games on the
DS. Understanding it's apparent case of awesome, Square Enix has announced a sequel to the game for release in Japan by the end of the year. Not much else is known, though we're sure that the game will take place IN a picture book!
In other, not-nearly-as-cool Final Fantasy news, Square Enix was nice enough to reveal their TGS lineup, which they'll show off at the event between the ninth and twelfth of October. Here's what they have planned. Ones arriving on Nintendo systems are bolded.

Sorry, Axel fangirls, but that means that no Kingdom Hearts 3 is announced yet, even though it's possible that they'll surprise us on the show floor. On the bright side, Valkyrie Profile
DS is announced, along with a
DS version of Chocobo Dungeon.
