Since it's first release in 1985, Tetris has been one of the core puzzle video games, and the basis for many 'stack-em-up' titles that have followed, including Dr Mario. It was announced earlier this year that Tetris would peep it's head around to WiiWare, taking the name of Tetris Party. Since then, nothing has been said. Today though, we see a number of details arrising about the game, and one long trailer showing off this brand spanking new dexterity trainer.
The game will feature:
- 18 game modes
- 10 brand new modes
- Balance board support
- 2-4 player local multiplayer
- Up to 6 players online
- Game will cost 1200 Wii Points

Tetris
DS was a fairly big hit for Nintendo's latest handheld. It's easy to say that this may well follow the same route. However, will the fact that it's only available to download affect it's sales? As this usually leaves out many 'casual' gamers who walk into their nearest Gamestop/Gamestation/GAME shops looking for any title which has an appealing boxart. Only time will tell.
