Nintendo to hold a conference on October 2nd.
After Nintendo's lackluster E3 performance (even Nintendo admits it), Nintendo need to find a way to get all the core crowd back on their side. The "Nintendo Conference Autumn 2008" will be taking place on October 2nd, and according to the Nihon Securities Journal, Nintendo will be unveiling "new products".

I don't want to invoke false hope, but could the new Pikmin or Zelda game be amongst that? Lurking on the hardware side, a Wii Storage solution also seems likely. When October 2nd rolls around, we'll let you know.

Wow this is going to be interesting to see what they've got
it seems they want to 'Make up' for E3.

yeh ive been w8ing 4 this convention more than anything since e3 coz its in their home country, so it shud show all the games it has to offer. I hope they dont go into figures again....who cares!

Yeah I'm thinking their going to announce that long awaited external hard drive. Probably even that rumor zelda game with a new main characted(not link). Pikmin announcement with online capabilities would totally own. Red Steel 2 maybe? Now those would bring back the core people.

M8 a Zelda game witout Link is not Zelda. Now wat they cud do is have a 2nd main chaaracter and cud be co-op somehow over online? Or somthin like that.

What Im looking 4ward to is the new Monster Hunter 3-tri 4 Wii since its majorally hyped and loved in Japan, I wouldnt mind seeing a release date and some new scenes/gameplay to go with the recent news addded at ign.com

What I'm looking forward is Nintendo being truly Nintendo.

Sales data interests only for investors. I'm not a investor - I'm a gamer.

And I'm not going to hype it again - 'cos hype doesn't pay :P

But it would be worthy seeing big franchises with new games on Wii, more details about GTA DS, and - please! - F-Zero and Mario Tennis for DS too. I'm dying for these games since the day DS just started existing.

i wouldnt really care for a new LoZ since the wii already has one but i expect them to focus on ips that they havent created on the wii yet (F Zero, maybe a new ip, pikmin) i just hope we dont get promised with Wii Teach or some garbage like that
