When you think about it, the
DS has become, more or less, an interactive fashion accessory. Countless yuppies bring it with them wherever they go, and often buy a color just to match what they're wearing. This environment has helped the
DS spawn countless colors, each with a special little bundle.
And with the holiday season looming upon us, it's no surprise that Nintendo is doing this again... in the UK. Here's what they have planned.
*White or black
DS Lite with Brain Age at the estimated retail price of £120 ($172).
*Red
DS Lite console with Big Brain Academyat at the estimated retail price of £120 ($172)
*Pink
DS Lite and Nintendogs Labrador and Friends at the estimated retail price of £130 ($187).
*Blue
DS Lite console and Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide What To Eat? at the estimated retail price of £130 ($187).
See a trend here? It seems like all these bundles are missing a little thing called a GAME. No, not a stupid piece of lamer software, but something that you really SHOULD buy a
DS for.
It's a shame, too, since the likes of Chrono Trigger, Sonic Chronicles, and Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise would really be enjoyable to the European market. Oh well, with demographic winter, there are less and less children in Europe anyway, so I guess that makes sense to market to grownups (I'm not being racist; it's a proven fact).
