    Re: Swapnote Spam

I'm not having any problems with it. The reason is that I've only added the friends that I can trust.

    :)

If that were to happen, then they would be spending their time on this same problem that they already know, which would also consumes much of their time as well. This decision is up to individuals that they want to do about it, since it's likely due to involvement, and based on being social with others. For me, I kept my cool; I hold my arguments to myself, since it wasn't like me to be mad this easily from the problem I'm already familiar with, and I don't want to make myself look bad toward others to make them look uncomfortable. I've been in this involvement before, and I don't have any complaints to comply, but socialist will learn about this to be more sincere.

Seriously, I got at least 40 letters a day, most of which are insignificant messages that I couldn't care less about (no offense!). Checking my swapnote became more of a chore than something to look forward to.
Anyone else here having issues or are you all cool?
I haven't had that problem. I'd even say I've had some pretty fun and memorable moments on swapnotes. I think I know waht your problem is though. You probably have added too many friends on your 3ds, most of them you probably hardly even know.

So here is the trick to being a happy swapnoter and 3ds owner: add only a few friends to your 3ds, never exceed 15-20 friends (although even that is a lot)!!!! After that it's starting to be a little too much to keep track of. Only add people you trust, care about or people you have a good ''vibe'' with from meeting them on F.C. or elsewhere. The nintendo friendlist is for FRIENDS! NOT RANDOM STRANGERS SENDING JUNK TO YOU! Get to know those people better or else ditch them... that's all!

As troublesome as it may be, you should be more cautious of who you're adding. If you don't want more swapnotes, then don't add a lot of people. But just take into consideration that some people don't want to feel lonely.

    Re: Swapnote Spam

This makes me glad that I only have like, 8 friends so far! Since I usually only check my Swapnote every 2-3 days.

Dang, I do need to start adding more people though, lol.

Out of the massive amount of friends I have on mine, there is only one friend abusing the swapnote system.

I have a real big problem with people on my lists not using their 3DS anymore. :(

    Re: Swapnote Spam

    @ MrAl I hope that isn't me! :)

I can't tell if I'm spamming or not to be honest. I try to make little events or shows out of what I send. I do this thing where I send out Banal Haikus. I think it is funny on a lot of differant levels. I also periodicaly announce whatever I happen to be drinking that evening. Oh, and the week I found wild chives. That was some good fun. I don't get too many responces, but then again I don't have too many people on there.

If someone asked me to stop sending any of them, I would. Seems like a simple enough solution.

Or they could just delete me. I could do the same if someone was realy bugging me. I don't think the deleted party can tell you deleted them other than by looking at your friend list and seeing no activity for "last online" for 10+ days. It's not like you have to tell people you deleted them.

PM if you add me :)

I have a mixture of this AND spam. Does this make any sense? But this only happened when I added one certain person, who I told very nicely that I didn't appreciate all the spam. I was just getting letters that said "LOL" and other junk. And the cool people who were sending me swapnotes just eventually quit! I try my hardest to make interesting notes for everyone; I even sometimes have people vote on the subject of my next note. I started a game called 'caption the pic' and people were playing at first, and then they just stopped. (although they all voted on what kind of picture I should send)
So anyway, the girl who was spamming me stopped. She's really sweet, and I'm glad I didn't have to delete her.
Anyway, people don't know if you delete them, but it might make them sad when you never send them any more notes. :(
