Just wanted to know if the same game crashing bug that was released in the Japanese version still exists in the U.S version

really?? i dont necessarily understand how the bug works,but what it pretty much did was keep from progressing in the game,so you get stuck where your at and thats where you stay at,and i was just wondering if its there cus i never heard of any news that it was fixed here,i know it was patched in japan shortly after it was discovered. So im guessing either it was fixed....or there will be a fix shortly...i dunno..

This is what square enix of japan said on the website (translated)

The above symptoms, it can be avoided by either of the following methods.

If the countdown to the drop force (1) is less than 14 seconds remaining, after dropping manually open without destroying the device, wait until you drop into the sky to terminate the countdown once, or menu, again destroy the device from the drop to Riku
Force after the start of countdown to the drop (2), to remove the barrier to destroy the device within 15 seconds

something about dropping Riku at the wrong time/place
so anyone shouldnt have too much of a problem with this
