Anyone still use Wi-Fi for Animal Crossing WW?

I used to play Animal Crossing WW a while back, but I had stopped because a lot of people had action replays and those people would do bad stuff to my game cartridge and I didn't want to risk losing that game for good. This was almost 2 years ago. I am wondering if stuff like this still happens and if it's safe to do Wi-fi? I have Animal Crossing WW for the DS.

Same thing happened to me here too. Fortunately I had an action replay back then that still worked and I was fortunate enough to have a backup of my town saved as well and was able to use that to fix my cartridge rather than send my cartridge into nintendo to have it fixed. Once my AR broke, I stopped using wi-fi for the DS. I am now thinking about getting rid of my DS and all the games with it.

I was bricked a month ago, but luckily I was unable to "de-brick" myself with ARDS.

From what I know, there are numeruos seeding clans bricking people who don't have ARDS. You just have to be very careful who you add to your roster, & who you let in to your town.
