Okay, I was just versing Koga in Pokemon Blue. I had my Pikachu at 1% health! He was my last pokemon. Then, I saw Weezing at a whopping lvl 43. I was liek WADDUHFUK!
weezing used self destuct! We both died, and I won!

I thought that if it was a tie that you would lose, even in those generations. Because you would not logically be able to take a step without Pokemon. Did you white out the step after recieving the badge?
