Oh, really? Well, then that would be amazing. It would be so fantastic if they made it. I'd rather have it on the DS rather than the wii, though. If they did make it, then I hope that I'll be able to carry over my GS2 data...

i dont think that, i think that the cartridge will need to be in the ds all the time with the ds in order to transfer data and things like that

I don't think there will be a third installment. My reason being is because, in the first of the two, there was a password system. This would imply that there would be a second game to use the passwords on. In the second game, there were no passwords, just a way to transfer the data from GS to GS2. I would take this as either, a) there is not going to be a third installment, or b) there could be but data will not be transferable.

I always figured that Smash Bros. was partly an advertising mechanic anyways. That's why Fire Emblem was finally brought to the states after Marth appeared in Smash Bros. Melee. I think SSB helped go a ways to promote games like Shadow Dragon and even Punch Out!!, since Little Mac was in Brawl. Isaac was in as an assist trophy as well, so that partially got my hopes up for a new Golden Sun.
