Oh my lord, how I miss this game. (I have the Xbox version)
This was the very last good Crash game in my honest opinion. After this game, the series was sent to the abyss by Sierra. I wish Naughy Dog didn't sell the copyrights after Team Racing.
Ironically enough, the order in which the Crash games were released is the order in which I like them.

Also want to add that CTR > Mario Kart

I really liked all the crash games for the playstation one, especially CTR and Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped. The latter was my first ever video game. I can not believe how much they have killed the series in recent years, the original formula of gems, wumpa, and good platform levels seems to have been completely scrapped for new ideas that just do not seem to work or go with crash. Bring back Naughty Dog for Crash.:(
