Crash Bandicoot: The wrath of Cortex

This one is a classic, collecting crystals, gems and relics, fighting hard but fun bosses(Crunch and the masks) and some good levels, this game is fun, I have to say though, this was my favorite because you don't do stuff like this in the newer Crash games(Crash of the titles, Crash mind over mutant)

what are your thoughts of this game?

to me i think this is the last good Crash game before it ended up in the scrap pile.
2 is still my all time favorite PSX game

Never Played the game but it looks fun. IMO the older the Crash the better!

It was originally in General Gaming Discussion. Since it does fit into nintendo discussion i moved it into Past Nintendo generations (Gamecube).

Crash was a classic...but the new ones just ruined it IMO.

Especially when he started talking is truely when they killed it(I believe it was the Mutant one when he started talking, it was in the end though) But I only play 1,2 and 3. Barely the Gamecube, Xbox, or PS2 games.

Yeah, I'm a HUGE fan of the crash games. I've played most of the games in the series, even the ones for the GBA. Here are my top five, though:

1. N-Tranced (2003, GBA)
2. Warped (1998, PS1)
3. Cortex Strikes Back (1997, PS1)
4. The Huge Adventure (2002, GBA)
5. Wrath of Cortex (2001, GCN)

WoC was alright, especially with the vehicles, but I just liked the other games a lot better.

I personally liked N-Tranced the best, though.

I love that game. Finding the gems were so puzzling. Especially the silver ones.

Well i only moved it because the Crash you posted was for GCN. If the discussion gets to focused on other consoles then i will move it accordingly.
