do gamers play old school games or new school?

Graphics are what I focus on the most.

Agreed. At least there's the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series.
And Kirby Super Star? Just great, especially with 2 players.

I play both, too. SNAFU, Rampart, Tetris, Ninja Jajamaru-kun, Super Mario Bros, Wario Land, Donkey Kong Country, Starfox 64, Mother 3, Phoenix Wright, Metroid Prime, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, etc.
I enjoy games of any age, as long as they're good.

Now Alladin for the Super Nintendo was one of the Best Disney Based games out there.

I remember trying to beat it for hours on end, but I could never beat escaping the Lion's Cave level.

I play Pokemon Platinum and Mario Kart Wii but I also like to Play Pokemon Emerald and Super Mario World.

I play both. I own a nintendo wii a couple of wii and gamecube games. I downloaded over 40 games from the wii shop channel. So it's more on the retro side over new school.
