do gamers play old school games or new school?

I can consider my self as an old gamer, but there are still some games that i just want to play. (Disgea series, Super Robot Taisen Series) I usually play games that are from an old series(like Super Robot Taisen)

Mostly old school gamer, since this current gen is filled to the brim with nothing but console/game series fanboys and repetitive game genres.

I go onto Virtual NES, and have an SNES rom as well. I miss those days.

Emulators are awesome,and so is roms,I love only one new school game it's super smash brothers series,the rest,nah!

I'm still an old-school gamer. I still play Super Mario All-Star on my SNES. That was one of my favorite games for the SNES.

I can't speak for all gamers, but personally I play both.
