Nintendo Nsider Forums, who remembers Nsider?

Personally I frequented the Power On (RP) board, and when the NOA mods closed it down everyone revolted and we made our own forum, based on the role-play Yoshi Bodyguards.

I even ran the role play for 5 years on a paid for server. Man... You're only as nerdy for Nintendo as me if you know what Nsider and a Let's Play on YouTube is. xD

So who remembers good old Nsider Forums? Did you get the Plumber rank? I got past the Yoshi post count to Donkey Kong and stopped, I believe.
In fact if that website still exists, I'm on the top 10,000 posters who ever visited Nsider.

    DISCUSS.

In the sixth grade (five years ago), I was addicted to Nsider. In less than a year, I got to Pianta rank (12000 posts). That's almost three times as much as I've gotten on FC! :O

But yeah, when Nsider closed, I thought about joining Nsider2, but I decided to stay here.

Power On was a TON of fun, but only because of the chaos. They were way too strict, though.

Nsider2 is terrible. Last I checked it was being trolled by Ludwig "ANTIROCKETCLOUDY" who was a famously ridiculous troll.

Wow. I knew someone who got past even Pianta rank on the forums. They were Bounty Hunter or something like Kirby. Talked to a few Plumber ranked people too.

Pretty sure my account MACKDADDYYOSHI got like 9,000 posts or so, before Nsider closed down.

Did you role play? Yes they were too strict, they moderated the Power On (RP) board like hawks, and you couldn't post "OOC chat." =/

We wound up making fun of the moderator of the RP board cleverly named Mario, calling him "Modio."

    Yeah, those were good times.
When D/P came out, I lived on the Pokemon boards. I think I had around... 1800 posts.
The mods were waaaay too strict sometimes, especially because you couldn't trade Friend Codes (something about personal privacy?) except through PMs.

You know, technically, that's against the rules, too :0

Lol, I know Brad and Rogue (I think they were sages, if that's what you call it) came from there...it was too big for me. Preferred FCs as my ninty home base.

I was always on Nsider's MKDS section playing in the NOA Mike thread, and we always put an "N" in our emblems so we knew who was an Nsider on wifi. XD Trying to find and race NOA Mike was like trying to find waldo, you got lucky if you could find him.

My Nsider name was "KE_Mario", and I raced under the nickname "Muffin^_^." That was some serious fun times, great competition, and a lot of buddies to hang with. [:

Dude, I forgot MKDS and DP were even out when Nsider was around!

SM64DS got me on Nsider. I actually read the little instruction booklet and found "log onto www.forums.nintendo.com" and made some of my most fond memories of the internet there.

Power On (RP) board for life <3

Sages!!! Sorry for the double post.

I totally forgot that you could become a sage, if you were special enough! xD

Rogue was never a Sage, but he really should have been. I still keep in touch with a few good friends I had from NSider, but it's too bad that I lost a lot of great friends that I had back then. The forum closing is probably for the better though.. I wouldn't have enough time to be very active at the old NSider.
