What is your favourite Paper Mario game?

My favourite is Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, mainly because of the epic story. I love chapter 8, the Palace of Shadow used to scare me when I was younger! And the ending of the game with the final 3 boss fights still sends chills down my spine. Right now I'm replaying the game for the 10th time and I still love it! What's your favourite PM game?

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that game!!!!!!! It never gets old to me :D I like the part when mario fights the other enemies in the ring to reach the top and beats up macho grubba! Its so awesome! I don't have that game anymore but I will definitely get it again!

The Thousand Year Door. By far the most replayed Paper Mario game for me.

I played the Pit of 100 Trials so many times...and I remember going back to that forest in chapter 4 to battle those Gold Amazee Dazees (can't remember their name off the top of my head) to level up a LOT.

TTYD. I love the first, but TTYD just improves so much. I don't care too much for Super Paper Mario, in its own right it's a fun game, but not my kind of game honestly.

The N64 one is the only one I've ever played, so I can only vote for that. I always wanted to play the others, though.

I am gonna say the first one, it has to be for me cause it had more badges I liked to mess with, like the dizzy spin. TTYD gave me my two favorite badges from the first game, but I barely explore other badges in thousand year door, I just need spike shield and hammer throw, when I am playing with a casual amount of BP.

Paper Mario had more badges that were better for standard amounts of BP (like every 3rd level you get BP), thus its more customization thus more fun. Not to mention that the first one is sillier and I like silly. Of course, the first game doesn't have any crazy special attacks like TTYD, but I do use more of the special attacks in the first game cause they apply more. I really only use Art Attack and Sweet Feast in TTYD. Of course I should mention, that to me, Paper Mario and TTYD are pretty much equal in the sense that TTYD pretty much improved everything about the series, even the writing, its just I had a lot more fun with Paper mario, somehow. I do feel like I should mention, I didn't have an N64 as a kid, I had a GCN, which meant I had TTYD first, I only recently got an N64 and Paper Mario (I think it was like 3 years ago I got the N64).

I do love Thousand Year Door, but just like with the Mario & Luigi series, the first one has more to offer, to me at least.

Super Paper Mario to me has a more fun story.

Paper Mario: TTYD. I think it pretty much improved everything that made the first game excellent. Great storyline, smoother battles, partners having their own health, wider variety of badges and moves 99 maximum badge points rather than just 30... I still play that game every once in awhile, it never gets old

Super Paper Mario strayed way too far away from what the other Mario RPGs were like. Removing the 3D and battle system? Seriously. (Sorry, SPM fans, it just sucked.)
