We all know Megaman but screw the X, ZX, Zero, and Battle network series and lets go back to plain old megaman. Spawned 8 sequals and two remakes(for the GB) as well as Megaman and Bass(which i think is a remake of 8 ) as well as a saturday morning cartoon series and an anime as well as a movie(X series) and i personally enjoyed watching Megaman when i was a kid.
But lets just talk about the fighting robot. Megaman

Lets go back to 1986 when Mega man first appeared in japan they actually had a light blue cartiage for the Family computer(Famicon) as well as a red and green on. Only equipped with the buster shot until 3 you had to fight your way through 8(6 in the original) Master Robot until you faced Dr.Willy a mad scientist who wants to use robots for evil! Upon the series spawning sequals they need more characters Protoman appeared in Megaman 3 which was around 1989.
Roll i think appeared in megaman 3 as well. Rush as well. Beat didn't appear until 4 which you had to collect four letters which spelled beat.

Megaman as well appeared as a green suited kid with strep throat in Captain N and the Game masters. Some robot master appeared in it as well i am going to name some of them: Gutsman, Cutman, Iceman, Flameman, Airman, Crashman, Woodman, Bubbleman, Topman.

Each megaman sequal gave fans a chance to submit their own creation up until two they decided to hold contest on the most creative robot master of them all. And those appeared in the Megaman games.

In japan mega man is Rock man Roll is still Roll, Protoman is Blues, Bass is same as well as Treble. Now notice something? Thats right in Japan all the names are based on music Rock n'Roll, Blues, Bass, Trebl. Cool huh?

Their has been only one pirated megaman game as far as i know and it is called Megaman X for the NES which uses a character similar to Quint a Clone of Megaman in Megaman V for the NES

Speaking of Megaman V for the GB this was the only one that didn't use Robot Masters instead we are givin to some weird alien robots from planets

The Original Megaman series have always been a set action/platforming standard during the 90's. They were THE original rock-paper-scissors game. Hands down the best game in the series was Megaman 2. The best power ups, bosses, and soundtrack was in that game. Rockn.

I liked the megaman with Forte in it.
The Gameboy color megamans as well. Megaman Battle Network was the best as well!

The old Megaman was awesome, but nothing can top the Battle Network Series. Especially BN5

I just don't like the RPG element they decided to put into megaman. Its supposed to be a action platforming game for sakes!

yup those. Zero and ZX are okay but still they had missions which sorta defeated the purpose of Megaman. X is probably the closest. Which thats why i don't hate it as much as Network battle.
