Now I'm jealous!
This guy built a completely functional giant NES controller which can be used as coffee table and storage box using MDF. He painted it with oil-based and acrylic paints.
Awesome work. Just look at it:

Wow, if Nintendo were to make something like this instead of the Wiimote, they'd make even MORE money than they're currently making now!
Really, you could get a game system and get a free coffee table! :D
