One word and one word only. HACKERS. Of course, people who hack are gonna see this through, unless they aren't very bright, and will not download it. I think Nintendo should start forcing the upgrades, in my opinion. :|

Okay. Yeah. ONE APP MEANS THAT ALL WE WANT TO DO IS RUIN YOUR FUN.

On the contrary, lots of apps are made that benefit gamers as well.

Also, if any of you don't know why they released this update, it was to kill DVDX in order to make the Backup Launcher not work anymore. However, now that the Backup Launcher does not need DVDX and almost runs at full speed now; the update is useless. And anyone that wasn't stupid downgraded to 3.2 and installed Starfall in like September. Even though the update supposedly stops homebrew, Team Twiizers made a 3.4 Twilight Hack, where you can install the homebrew channel; where it is then reccomended you get the cIOS Downgrader to downgrade your machine to 3.2 and install Starfall.

TLDR; Wii is becoming the Dreamcast

Wii Update 3.4 does in fact kill homebrew, but the people who invinted the Twilight Hack (Team Twiizers) have released another installer for the 3.4 version, so all you have to do is reinstalled it.

According to them "they fixed bugs by creating new ones" which aloud them to make another version.

I had 3.2 when I had my homebrew, I never did any updates. When I heard about the new TOS I uninstalled homebrew. I'm tired of this no more updating to have homebrew crap. The only thing I used it for was to use cheats. I can do without them, real players don't cheat.

I'm glad Nintendo is slowly getting rid of Modified Files. Soon there will be no Homebrew, soon Nintendo will force you to update to 3.4+, and soon there will be no more hacking (for homebrew anyway)

The people who made the Twilight Hack have said that they were quiting. They came back when they found a fix for the 3.4 version. But Nintendo will soon get to the point were they will have to quit and get on with there lifes.

Makar, do not say such stupid things. They can not force you to update if you have 3.2
Why?
Because the patch needed to force updates wasn't implemented until 3.4.

Even if you needed an IOS to play a certain game, all you have to do is rip the game to your computer, extract the IOS, install it, and start playing. You don't need to take updates from games to make them work. The Wii is the next-gen version of the Dreamcast and Nintendo can't do anything about it.
