Yes Snake is owned by Konami. As for which company they like best I don't care.

Snake, like most of the responses said, is originally Konami.
He shows up on different platforms, NES, and Gamecube (Like the others said)
But also on Playstation (in various eras)

So I'd say he's Konami in whatever it is you're writing. He showed up on two separate systems, so the way you could say that in your written thing is:

"Snake's home was on the NES and Gamecube for some time, but He moved to Sony's Playstation consoles as well."

Something like that.

Since the PS2 versions are the only ones I've played, I'll go with that but does it really matter? Metal Gear will be great no matter what system its played on. In addition, you could argue whether Devil May Cry is Sony or Microsoft, if Final Fantasy is Nintendo or Sony, if Megaman is Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony, and so on and that's all just a waste of electricity and time.

I'm gonna agree with alot of other people and just say that Snake is Konami. He really belongs to no one(but Konami) since he has appeared on the MSX, NES, Gamecube, Playstation 1, Xbox 1, Playstation 2 and the Playstation 3. He's a cross-platform character...
