Will You Be Getting Pokémon Platinum?

I caught them all... ('cept of course Arceus and Shaymin)
I'll be getting it for the bonus of recording battles really, that's about the extent of it.
I've finished Diamond, so, something new would be nice.

I've always been a Pokemon fan, but I'm not sure if I'm going to pay for the same game with minor changes... I might just sell Pokemon Diamond and then buy Platinum. Probably not though, I'm thinkin' of buying the Conduit instead.

No, I'm not. The way I see it Pokemon Platinum is nothing more than Nintendo's way of cashing in on the same game twice.

Think about it. Pokemon Platinum is basically the same game as Diamond and Pearl, which came out almost two years ago. Sure, you can get the pokemon from Diamond and Pearl, but that's nothing that I couldn't achieve by trading over Wi-fi, which is both cheaper and less time-consuming.

The only reason Nintendo releases another version after the original (Platinum, Emerald, Crystal, Yellow) is because they're trying to cash in twice on the same game. Otherwise, why wouldn't they have just released the third version when the first two were released? Just so they could make more money.

It's one thing if you haven't already bought Diamond or Pearl, but I just think there's better games to spend $35 on, rather than buy a game I already own.
