Mario or Sonic

I know Sonic isn't essentially Nintendo, but which one do you think is better. Mario or Sonic? I say Mario, because he's just a classic... Sonic seems to modern for me, or something.

Sonic. He can jump higher and run faster. Lol.

Although Sonic has potential to be more damaging (high speed= high impact=high damage) I'm going with Mario. He takes your speed and give you Metal Mario (your WORST nightmare!)

But Sonic was the first to stray from simple mario rip-offs back then and now sonic will always be my favorite, the Blue Blur rules
